The Simplicity Event. New York

Brief

Philips LogoTo create a design-led event whose branding, design, style and service reflect the Simplicity brand. Event must be scheduled to take place during a Philips’ advertising and PR launch, so that the event is part of the overall launch of the Simplicity brand. 

Objectives

Launch the simplicity brand to different groups: media and press, staff and customers and utilise the Simplicity Event to create media and consumer awareness. 

WorldEvents Role

WorldEvents organised and delivered pre-event attendee communication; online registration design and hosting; hotel arrangements; onsite registration staffing; other onsite ‘hostess’ staffing; welcome reception at hotel; all ground transportation.

The event comprised of a series of three one-day events for different attendee types: press, employees and customers. And also two evening events: one for actors/celebrities and another for designers. The main events took place at Pier 94 in New York. Each delegate attended the main event that included a multimedia presentation. At the climax of the presentation, the attendees walked through the screen on which they had been watching the presentations.

The event was very high touch and brand intensive in order to meet the objectives of creating awareness of this new brand. All elements of the event were branded with Simplicity-style branding.

Outcome

A highly successful and interactive event that was on-brand and ran smoothly and efficiently.
