Position: Finance Director

Then: As a graduate of Economics from Leicester University, my career began with one of the "big four" firm of Chartered Accountants, Ernst & Young. I then joined international decorative coating giant SigmaKalon with responsibility for group reporting and as part of the national account negotiation team. I joined WorldEvents as Financial Controller in 2004 and was appointed Company Secretary in 2006 and then Finance Director in 2007.

Role Now: As Finance Director, I'm responsible for all financial and management information systems. In addition, key elements of my role include the management of the company’s treasury function, industry regulatory compliance, dealing with complex overseas VAT related issues and involvement in client contract negotiations, procurement initiatives and event return on investment evaluations.

Outside of work: I compete in the Huddersfield Badminton League and enjoy spending all the time I can with my young daughter, wife, family and friends.
