WorldEvents™ win Awards at EIBTM and IVCA LiveCom Awards
WorldEvents™ is finishing 2008 with a bang, by winning an IVCA LiveCom and an EIBTM 2008 Award. The EIBTM 2008 awards panel judged the 2008 Allergan ‘Quest for Excellence’ Sales Conference to be worthy of the Highly Commended Award for 'Best Conference with More Than 250 Attendees’. Mark Saxby, Sales and Marketing Director, collected the award on the 3rd December in Barcelona. EIBTM is a leading exhibition for the conference, incentives, events, business travel and meetings industry, held annually in Barcelona. The awards were developed to recognise exceptional creativity and imaginative skill.
WorldEvents™ also won the award for ‘Best Internal Experience’ at the 2008 IVCA LiveCom Awards on 3rd December in London at a ceremony held at the world renowned London Stock Exchange. IVCA is the International Visual Communication Association and has developed the awards in partnership with UK Trade and Investment to promote excellence in overseas trade in live and experiential communications. Graham Keene, Executive Chairman, collected the award and in collecting the award commented ‘We are delighted to be winning this award for the second year running. A highlight of the event was a CSR programme designed to leave a legacy in Malta involving participation from the Maltese government’. Sales & Marketing Director, Mark Saxby said “To win such prestigious industry awards is fantastic news for WorldEvents™. The recent wins really underpin our growth and thoroughly define our presence in the UK, European and International events markets. This brings our tally to 18 international awards in 22 months”.
