WorldEvents Awards Prize to Outstanding Leeds Met Student
International live events agency, WorldEvents, recently presented award-winning Leeds Met University graduate Bryony Cox with a £500 travel bursary towards furthering her career in the conference and incentive industry. Bryony was named winner of the WorldEvents Student of the Year award on the Event Management Degree Course. The sponsorship of the prize by WorldEvents, the largest local employer in the event management field, highlights a growing professional relationship between Yorkshire businesses and universities. Leeds Met University is one of the first universities to offer a degree course dedicated to event management.
