WorldEvents Expands into Europe

WorldEvents has opened a new office in Amsterdam. The office will become the nucleus for growing the business in mainland Europe and will be supported by a number of smaller offices in key markets.

WorldEvents delivered events in over 40 countries last year out of its UK and US offices but this initiative specifically recognises the importance and value to clients of having the capacity and expertise to deliver events on a local basis.

Commenting on the move, Andrew Winterburn, European Development Director said, ‘Our strategy for Europe is built around a hub and spoke network of operations in each of our key markets of Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.‘ A team of multi-lingual and native tongue speakers is currently being assembled.

Key to the plan is genuine integration with our UK and US offices, linked through a new account management structure which will deliver seamless event planning and management for clients, regardless of their location or the event destination.

The result is a new capability to improve our regional event delivery and extend our relationships with clients, through locally based teams who speak the language and really understand the local market. This is backed by central logistics, production and creative teams.
