WorldEvents Charitable Initiatives

We believe in supporting our local and worldwide communities and to this end, we support two local charities based near both our offices;

Our European office actively support and engage with a hospice local to our UK base. Again, this is not just financial support, but donating staff time and resources to help this worthwhile cause. Overgate Hospice provide high quality specialist palliative care for patients with progressive, life-threatening illnesses, their families and carers. In 2007 WorldEvents have raised over £5000 by taking part in a corporate dressdown day, taking part in Overgate’s annual ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition, and supporting the hospices ‘Ray of Sunshine’ day, where directors and employees ran stalls to raise money for the charity.

Our US office also support a local charity, Trenton Area Soup Kitchens (TASK). TASK are a charitable, non-religious, non-profit organisation whose mission is to respond to the needs of hungry people in the Trenton (New Jersey) area. Our US team have attended the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) to help serve up lunch for local residents and will be involved in further initiatives moving forward.
